Our client is a global leader in the agriculture industry, renowned for pioneering advancements in agricultural technology and sustainable farming. With over a century of expertise and a network of more than 900 independent growers spanning across 30 countries, our client has consistently set the standard for quality in the sector.
We are currently hiring a District Manager (M/F) for a position based in Morocco.
The District Manager (M/F) will be responsible for :
- Contribute to the strategic plan for the region, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and budget.
- Oversee and enhance performance, productivity, and efficiency across all operational areas in Morocco.
- Manage regional budgets, headcount planning, and investments, ensuring alignment with strategic plans.
- Lead and develop direct reports, guiding them to achieve business and personal goals in line with company values.
- Integrate and manage local teams across various functions (e.g., Forecasting, Quality Assurance) and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Represent the company with operators and stakeholders in Morocco, ensuring clear communication and addressing business changes.
- Expand and support the grower base, maintaining a profitable and sustainable grower model.
- Ensure alignment and collaboration with internal departments like Breeding, Sales, and Supply Chain.
- Participate in industry events and collaborate with government and industry entities to support and influence business decisions.
- Oversee workforce planning, hiring, on-boarding, development, and ensure employee safety and effective off-boarding processes
The successful candidate for the District Manager (M/F) role must possess the following credentials:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Agronomic Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years within a sizeable international produce business.
- Arabic and French, with excellent English; Spanish is a plus.
- Willing to travel regularly within Morocco, and to Europe.
- Strong understanding of Moroccan culture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact across different levels.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
